Custom Story Board
A unique and interesting challenge presented itself. A renowned voice - over artist (Ms. Amy Dubose) wanted a few animated video clips developed to match the audio of previous voice overs she produced for here clients. Instead, we approached the video request differently to display her skills without using old dry audio.
We landed on creating an introductory explainer for her, covering some of the wonderful skills she had to showcase to clients and producers alike. She loved the idea and we moved forward to keep the exiting momentum. Unlike other projects, this was full-on collaborative work in each of the phases and frames we developed. This resulted in full-on customization of assets and vector elements to precisely match the artist's skills, love for what she does, and what exactly she could do uniquely with her voice that stands out amongst her competitors.
While on a long discussion, we created a rough storyboard with some assets we gathered and customized from various resources. Most of the assets would eventually be made to match the various frame requirements. Multiple changes, updates and alterations had to be made based on the original script in subtle ways to ensure that the storyline matched her unique way of changing the voice tone, pacing, and character voices all within the audio. Her target audience is producers and as a production fellowship, we could include feedback about her target audience to help her get the response she was hoping for.
We were prepared as we went into designing and animation together after a few style frames were approved by the client. Ms. Dubose was sent every few seconds as we completed, then we would jump into a call with Amy to see how she felt about the newest iterations and made changes to match the expectations and meet the results required. This was incredibly fulfilling for us and the client. Please enjoy the final product showcasing how we came together creatively!
